Creative Jumstart 2016

I've been MIA on the blog but am back today. I have joined a workshop put on by Nathalie Kalbach called Creative Jumpstart 2016. It is a one-of-a-kind online event to kick your creativity into high gear in January 2016.  I am learning techniques, discovering new materials, and connecting with other artists and crafters. Throughout January we get 25 downloadable videos from 24 featured artists-jumpstarters. The theme this year is Art In Translation. The first master artist I learned about was Henri Matisse. After watching a video by one of my favorite jumpstarters - Rae Missigman - I attempted her style. Here's what I came up with:

I learned a lot of different techniques and it was a lot of fun!

I love the dreamy colors and very soft layering. Thank you so much for being part of CJS 2016!
